The Multi grade sand filter provided by TTAIPLis a depth filter that makes use of coarse and fine media mixed together in a fixed proportion. This arrangement produces a filter bed with adequate pore dimensions for retaining both large and small suspended particles. It consists of a mesh of various graded (sized) media together. The media inside the filter is arranged in such a way that it produces a filter bed with adequate pore dimensions for retaining both large and small suspended particles. Raw water with 25 to 50 PPM Suspended solids, produce filtrates with less than 5 PPM on passing through the filter. It can be used stand alone to remove physical impurities in water or can be used as pretreatment to safeguard further equipment.
The Iron Removal Filter is designed to remove the excess iron content present in the feed water with minimum pressure drop. Most iron filtration systems operate on the principal of oxidizing the iron to convert it from a ferrous (dissolved or soluble) to a ferric or undissolved state. For Oxidizing of Iron,Techno Tech Aqua Group Provides Aeration, Dosing of Oxidizing agent or Ozonation depending on process requirement. Post to Iron filter, activated carbon filter is provided. Water Softening system removes hardness of water causing salts (Ca+ and MG+) from the water, thus making water soft. Hardness < 5 PPM as CaCO3 is achieved at the outlet of the system. NaCl is used to regenerate the Softener after exhaustion of OBR. Use of water softening system reduces the chances of scaling in further equipment. This system is extensively used in industrial, domestic and pharmaceutical applications. Water softening system is used as standalone but it is better to provide multi grade sand filter and activated carbon filter as pretreatment to avoid fouling of resin.
Demineralization is a type of water purification. It can refer to any treatment process that removes minerals from water. The term demineralization is typically reserved specifically for ion exchange (IX) processes used for near total removal of ionic mineral contaminants. TTAIPL De Mineralization system removes dissolved salts from the water. TDS < 10 PPM is achieved at the outlet of the system. De mineralization system consists of two segments, i.e. Strong Acid Cation (SAC) and Strong Base Anion (SBA). HCl is used to regenerate SAC and NaOH is used to regenerate SBA after exhaustion of OBR. This filtration system is extensively used for industrial and pharmaceutical applications. De-Mineralization system can be used standalone but it is better to provide multi grade sand filter and activated carbon filter as pretreatment to avoid fouling of resin.
TTAIPL Mixed Bed Unit removes dissolved salts from the water. TDS < 1 PPM is achieved at the outlet of the system. Mixed Bed Unit consists Anion and Cation exchange both in same unit, thus providing higher quality permeate at the outlet. HCl and NaOH are used to regenerate Mixed Bed Unit after exhaustion of OBR. TTAIPL Ultra filtration is a membrane based technology to remove suspended solids, colloidal matter, High Molecular Weight Substances, bacteria and viruses from various feed water sources. UF can achieve a low and consistent silt density index (SDI) and is often used as pre-treatment for reverse osmosis using surface water, seawater and biologically treated wastewater as feed source
“Techno Tech Aqua Group”Nano Filtration System is applied to remove multivalent ions (like heavy metals) and is often used for decolorization, desalting, reducing the amount of organic matter. As a filtering technique Nano filtration is situated in between ultrafiltration and reverse osmosis. Ultrafiltration will not separate ions, whereas a NF will remove the larger ions. An RO, on the other hand, will remove nearly all the ions. NF has the same setup as an RO: a large stream flowing by the membrane while only the filtrate stream goes through the membrane. Nano filtration also works according to this cross flow principle.
TTAIPL Microfiltration (MF) uses physical separation to remove suspended solids and bacteria from water streams through a membrane porosity of between 0.1 to 10 μm. MF does not remove dissolved contaminants. Microfiltration is used in a range of water treatment applications such as potable water treatment.
Reverse osmosis is a membrane-based technology used to remove dissolved salts from water. The system utilizes state-of-the-art spirally wound reverse osmosis membranes. According to the size of pores, the membranes are classified as low-energy membranes, brackish-water membranes, and seawater membranes. The same are used by TTAIPL to achieve the treated water quality as per the client’s needs. The treated water from reverse osmosis systems contains very low dissolved solids and is also free from particulate, colloidal, and organic matter. The systems can remove 90 to 98% of dissolved solids.
Heat-subitizable RO membranes are mostly used in pharmaceutical industries. These membranes have a higher area, which allows the design of systems with either low operating flux or cost savings from fewer membrane elements. The full-fit configuration minimizes stagnant areas and is optimal for applications requiring a sanitary design. Also, heat-subitizable membranes can withstand higher temperatures to provide sanitization on the membrane using hot water at 800 to 85°ich is an added advantage in the pharmaceuticalical industry.
Electro Deionization is a process which deionizes water by means of applied current. Effectively removes dissolved inorganic matter. Widely used in Pharmaceutical industries or where, <1 PPM TDS is required. EDI Doesn’t require chemical regeneration so, no need of shutting down the plant during regeneration. Thus, reducing the operation costs. Feed water limiting conditions are strict in case of EDI, so only RO or DM treated water must be used as feed water for EDI.
